Who: Homeschool students ages 9-18 

When: Wednesdays

1st Semester:

September 11 - December 11, 2024 (no rehearsal on November 26th)

2nd Semester:

January 15 - April 9, 2025 (there are no skipped rehearsals this semester)

Time: 1:45-3:15 P.M.

Where: Black Hills Community Church (618 E. Elk St. Rapid City)

Cost: $100 + $25 yearly insurance/cleaning fee due at first rehearsal 

Please note that this is an increase in cost from last year due to many factors. The $25 yearly fee covers our cleaning cost as well as the liability insurance we now have to carry.

Even with the increase of cost, it still comes to under $8.75 for each 1.5 hour class.​

Concert Dress: White shirt, black pants or skirt, black shoes and socks/stockings. No logos on shirts.

 

More Info:

This semester we will be performing selections of Christmas Messiah for Young Voices which is a simplified version of Handel's Messiah. The goal is to do this work every 4 years.

 

***This class accepts new students each semester

***Please have your children bring a water bottle to practices as the church does not have a water fountain.

***All students should arrive 10 minutes before rehearsal time as we will start promptly at 1:45.

***All cell phones MUST be turned off during rehearsals. Failure to do so will get the student removed from class for the remainder of the class. Please have a conversation with your older students.

***We are in a church who has graciously allowed us to use their space.

Please take off shoes and boots at the door if they are muddy.

***Children must remain in the building at all times from the time they are dropped off until they are picked up. We are not allowing any outside play.
